The founding corporation of MMM Group Limited was established in 1952 and incorporated in 1957 as Marshall Macklin Monaghan Limited. Renamed MMM Group in 2007, the firm’s head office is in Thornhill, Ontario. A truly Canadian company, MMM Group has offices in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. In addition, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, MMM has more than 25 offices in the USA, U.K., Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean.  Together these offices provide responsive and innovative consulting engineering, planning, project management, environmental management, landscape design, surveying and commissioning services to private sector owners, architects, contractors, investors and government clients across Canada and internationally. 

Ninety-six Partners and more than 290 Associate-Partners and Associates share in the overall management of a practice that currently numbers over 1,800 personnel, of whom more than one-third are licensed professional engineers, landscape architects or scientists. Each Partner serves in a senior role responsible for management of one of the firm’s areas of service or corporate affairs.

MMM is recognized as an industry leader in the provision of quality, cost-effective and technically excellent multidisciplinary engineering solutions for a diverse range of assignments. The ability to provide a continuum of services in-house including planning, project management and structural, mechanical, electrical, transportation, traffic, municipal, landscape and environmental engineering design, and contract administration services - offers clients the synergies and efficiencies of a single-source/single point of responsibility, multidisciplinary team. MMM is also a leader in alternate project delivery methods including structuring integrated design/build teams and public-private partnerships (P3s) and providing comprehensive project and program management services for large infrastructure projects. Over the past decade, the firm has applied its expertise in the private development of infrastructure to implement major airport projects in many countries and is now expanding its application to the development of major institutional building, port, municipal services and transportation infrastructure projects.
